Mövenpick BDMS Wellness Resort Bangkok boosts Alternative State Quarantine programme

BANGKOK, 9 November 2020 – The Alternative State Quarantine (ASQ) programme at Mövenpick BDMS Wellness Resort Bangkok, which blends world-class hospitality and medical monitoring from Bangkok Hospital, all in a soothing natural setting, claims to have become the leading choice for travellers arriving back in Thailand in the post-pandemic era.

BDMS Wellness Clinic

In addition to offering some of Bangkok’s most spacious downtown rooms and suites, diverse dining, health and fitness facilities, and the ability to unwind in 1.2 acres of tropical gardens, Mövenpick BDMS Wellness Resort Bangkok has unveiled a series of exciting new services in collaboration with innovative partners.

Guests can now keep fit and healthy during their 15-night ASQ stay by hiring fitness equipment to be used in their room in addition to yoga mats and sleep therapy speakers, which are standard amenities. To boost mental stimulation, over 7,000 newspaper and magazine titles are available via the PressReader app, and Wi-Fi is free-of-charge throughout the entire resort.

Guests can enjoy three daily meals from regularly rotating menus that feature over 150 dishes, including plenty of vegan and vegetarian choices, as well as on-demand in-room dining. Guests also have the option to rent a microwave and premium coffee machine with capsules. Mövenpick ice cream and other tasty pastries and cakes can be ordered from Rim Klong Café!

Other new elements have been added to the ASQ medical experience. Under the all-new “Preventative Health Connect” initiative, guests will receive a free video-consultation with professional teams. These 15-minute sessions can be booked on an appointment-only basis. Pre-consultations with doctors are also offered using Tyto-care.

The BDMS Wellness Clinic is giving ASQ guests a 5% discount on all packages and services. This promotion can be applied at 10 separate in-house clinics, which range from regenerative wellness, fertility and women’s health to digestive wellness, dental services, aesthetic wellness, preventive cardiology and more.

Mövenpick BDMS Wellness Resort Bangkok is an urban oasis, surrounded by 1.2 acres of tropical gardens

Mövenpick BDMS Wellness Resort Bangkok also claims to have become the first ASQ hotel to roll out a new pocket concierge app, called HandiGo. Once loaded on the guest’s smartphone, this app allows them to keep in touch with hotel staff 24 hours a day, make personalised requests, order meals and more.

Shoppers can even indulge in retail therapy, courtesy of Siam Paragon, the popular Bangkok lifestyle mall. By accessing the “Paragon Chat & Shop @ ASQ” account via LINE or WeChat, guests can chat with the Siam Paragon team, search for a wide range of products online, including fashion, electronics, stationery, toys and games, cosmetics, grocery items and more, and have them delivered to the hotel the same day! This service is available in five languages and is connected to all major international credit card companies, so every traveller can shop to their hearts’ content.

Finally, guests will enjoy preferred rates at selected AccorHotels properties throughout Thailand after they complete their ASQ stay. For more information, please visit: www.movenpickbdmsbangkok.com/offers/post-asq-stay-offers.
