U.S. real estate companies to hold largest show to attract Chinese investment

New York, NY (PRWEB), August 07, 2015 — The Real Deal is bringing the “U.S. Real Estate Showcase & Forum” to Shanghai on September 10 through 12 at the Jing’An Shangri-La Hotel. The show will be the largest U.S. real estate event ever to be held in China.

The showcase will feature exclusive networking events as well as 12 panels and workshops that offer everything investors need to know to invest in the hottest real estate markets in the U.S. The panels will feature a host of U.S. real estate magnates including former New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer.

The panels will cover hot topics such as “EB-5/Immigration & Real Estate” and “How to Gain Access to Top U.S. Schools and Find Housing.” Other panels will cover new opportunities for development in NYC and beyond as well as panels that put focus on the California and South Florida real estate markets.

The show is expected to attract five thousand Chinese real estate investors and professionals.

With a triumvirate of market forces in China – a plunge in the Chinese stock market, a growth of personal credit, and a housing market slowdown – Chinese investors comprise a tremendous market opportunity for U.S. developers and sellers. They spent an astounding $22 billion on U.S. real estate in 2014, 72 percent more than they spent just one year earlier. This investment trend is expected to grow even more.

The U.S. Real Estate Showcase & Forum offers Chinese buyers the chance to immerse themselves in U.S. real estate with an incomparable opportunity to explore investment opportunities at more than 100 U.S. residential and commercial properties, without traveling to the U.S.

The showcase will conclude with the VIP Deal Summit, a handpicked invitation-only dinner that pairs the biggest players in U.S. real estate with China’s most active individual and institutional investors.

Featured panelists at the event will include Eliot Spitzer, former New York governor and head of Spitzer Enterprises; Andrew Farkas of Island Capital; Ifei Chang of Greenland; top broker and reality TV star Fredrik Eklund of Douglas Elliman; former CEO of Cushman Wakefield Bruce Mosler; and Kuafu CEO Shang Dai.

Other real estate luminaries who have confirmed their participation include the Witkoff Group’s Steve Witkoff; the Naftali Group CEO Miki Naftali; Stan Gale of Gale International; Town Residential CEO Andrew Heiberger; Jonathan Miller of Miller Samuel; the Sapir Organization’s Rotem Rosen; Nicholas Mastoianni II of the U.S. Immigration Fund; Nikki Field of Sotheby’s International Realty; Bernardo Fort-Brescia, founder of Arquitectonica; and many, many more.

TRD is partnering with some of the most prestigious companies both in the U.S. and China to put together a showcase of over 100 new developments and guarantee face-to-face meetings between Chinese buyers and U.S. developers.

Sponsoring partners include: Kuafu Properties/M Dai & Associates, U.S. Immigration Fund, Ernst & Young, Prodigy Realty, Paramount Miami World Center, One Sotheby’s, One World Properties, Fenwick Keats, Lionheart Capital, American Express, Naftali Group, Allied Capital & Development, The Carlton Group, Maddd Equities LLC, M Dai & Associates, Price Waterhouse Cooper, Cervera Real Estate, Simon Baron and the Ritz-Carlton Miami Beach.
