Thailand Rolls Out Recovery MICE Packages in Top Hotels

TCEB media release

Bangkok – The Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) would like to share the following announcement and special promotions with all our associates, industry partners, meeting planners and organizers. It is important for all of us to work together at this time as Thailand recovers from the impact of political events on our industry along with the Thai economy in general.

The past year has been a challenging one for Thailand given the difficult political situation during that time. Now that the situation has stabilized, all players in the tourism industry are working together to show the world that Thailand is indeed back to its amazing self. TCEB is working hard in this regard and seeks your kind assistance and cooperation in joining and supporting us in these efforts.

Business travelers and MICE organizers all need to hear the message that no MICE events are impacted in the least by the current political situation; if anything, there’s never been a better time to organize a meeting, incentive trip, convention or exhibition in Thailand, since lower-than-average demand has created an abundance of availability and opportunity.

The following meeting packages at top hotels are meant to entice the MICE industry back to Bangkok, where everyone can see for themselves how smoothly the city is functioning, and how normal the entire country is now operating.

Here are just a few examples of participating hotels and their special promotions:

Pullman Bangkok King Power: A resort experience hotel in a Bangkok City Hotel, with meeting facilities catering up to 600 persons. Meeting package: Full-day meeting package THB 1,200.- net / day / person.

InterContinental Bangkok: Located in the heart of Ratchaprasong, offering full-day meeting package THB 1,200++ / person.

Dusit Thani Bangkok: The classic 5-star luxury hotel embodying the essence of Thailand; full-day meeting packages at THB 1,600 net.

Other big names chipping in include the Sheraton, JW Marriott, Siam Kempinski, Okura Prestige, and the Renaissance. We’re all in this together and it’s wonderful the way all the different elements of the industry are coming together to move forward to a bright future.

Let’s get the good news out that Thailand is back to normal and ready, willing, and able to provide you with the best business events in the region and beyond.
