Applications open for first summer school course on ‘Green Growth and Travelism’

Brussels – ‘Green Growth and Travelism (GG&T)’ is to be the subject of the first Summer School with specific focus on sustainable mobility and biodiversity to be organized by the Transportation Research Institute, Hasselt University, Belgium, between August 25th to 29th 2014.

Today’s world is changing hyper-dynamically – economic, social & environmental challenges compounded by intensifying climate change and 24/7 mobile connectivity. To create a brighter more sustainable future, the idea of Green Growth has been developed as a strategic response – with tourism, climate resilience, mobility and biodiversity as key elements.

Other organisers included greenearth.travel and the Maurice Strong University Network.

Thanks to new sponsorships, the organisers are able to cut registration fees to 900€ for course attendance and accommodation. AND: the next twenty participants will receive an additional discount and register for 300€ (course only) or 450€ (with accommodation).
