Enjoy A Weekend In Chiang Mai, And Help A Severely Burned Boy

Chiang Mai – A special ‘charity’ weekend package in Chiang Mai for 31 May – 02 June 2013 includes 2 night’s accommodation at the Imperial Mae Ping Hotel, and a fundraising Gala Dinner & Dance on 01 June in the hotel’s Grand Hall.

Proceeds from the dinner will help to cover the cost of continuing medical treatment for Chaa Nay Choo, the 14 year-old boy seriously burned when trying to save others in the Mae Surin refugee camp fire on 22 March, as well as provide support for other refugees and migrants from Burma.

“Dang Fantastic”and his band will provide dance music and songs for the evening.

The organisation involved is The Best Friend Library in Chiang Mai, which is committed to helping Burmese refugees. The dinner will feature a Burmese theme, with Burmese entertainers, Burmese-style buffet dinner, free flow of soft drinks, a cash bar, door prizes, silent auction, and a pre-function Burmese handicrafts exhibition.

The cost is Baht 2,450 nett per person sharing a twin room, including American Breakfast, round trip airport transfers, the Gala Dinner, tax and service.
