Muslim lynchings by cow vigilantes batter India’s image
India’s image is taking a global battering these days. Here is a collection of news items, both in India and abroad, showing the public relations crisis facing the country as it abandons its once cherished democratic, secular credentials and steadily drifts towards becoming a Hindu theocracy Modictatorship. The impact of this on travel & tourism will need to be closely monitored by the industry. The Indian government is gung-ho about combatting terrorism but apparently can’t control its own indigenous lynch mobs.
