Bangkok – The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) is marking the 50th anniversary of its founding this year with another tourism marketing campaign under the slogan VisitASEAN@50.
The ASEAN tourism industry, one of the greatest success stories of the global economy, has played a major role in helping the 10 member grouping create jobs and prosperity.
How did it achieve this? What is the current status? And what challenges will it face in the next 50 years?
