2017 Metro Manila Tourism Forum to be held Feb 9-10

Manila — The 2017 Metro Manila Tourism Forum will be held on February 09-10, 2017 at the Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria, Quezon City. This year, it commemorates the UN World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) in celebrating 2017 as the International Year of Sustainable Tourism for Development. As such, the theme will be “ASEAN: Enhancing City Tourism Destinations towards Sustainable Development.”

The 2017 Metro Manila Tourism Forum is a major gathering of Metro Manila Mayors, Tourism Officers, the Hotel and Restaurant Association Philippines (HRAP), the Management Association Philippines (MAP), the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) and many more, with discussions and interactions of various substantive topics from our expert panel of speakers.

The Forum hopes to optimize the city’s tourism potential through discussions of the latest local and global trends, statistics, and master plans. It aims to increase awareness to both the private and public sectors of the tourism development of the city. Likewise there will be an exhibition area where the city can promote their local tourism destinations and related products in the conference proper.
