Career

Joined the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism in 1989 and worked his way up through various positions, mainly in promotions and marketing.

Represented Myanmar over the years at all the meetings of the ASEAN national tourism organisations after Myanmar became an ASEAN member in 1997.

Appointed Deputy Minister in 2011 and Union Minister for the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism from 2012 to March 2016

Now running a private consultancy company.
