Man on FBI’s no-fly list sues U.S. Govt – OregonLive.com


A 56-year-old Tigard man is challenging his inclusion on the government’s no-fly list after being stranded last year in Tunisia as he tried to jet home from a humanitarian mission in his native Libya.

Jamal Tarhuni, a naturalized U.S. citizen, accuses U.S. government officials of violating his civil rights. He alleges in a federal lawsuit that government agents denied him due process, rights of citizenship, assistance of legal counsel, and other rights.
